962 MILES
20 BAGS OF PRETZELS

Three miles away from Sagrada Familia, pffff no problem, let's walk it! Five espressos, ten empanadas, eight water bottles and an hour and a half later we made it! Cut to Anthony pointing out the beautiful wildlife in the park, only for Jana to be confused and end up taking pictures of pigeons. Go on a hike which ended with Tal having his first fruit in Europe so far! (it was the apples in his sangria), walking to the beach at sunset to see the coast, running into anywhere that allows us to go to the bathroom for free, Tal waving down the bus then getting completely side eyed by the driver as he accelerated past us

Barcelona Beach.
Outside Opium.
Staying at Opium until 4 in the morning then laying on the sand at the beach, learning that a "Ham and Cheese Bikini" is in fact not a weird form of swimwear and is actually a yummy sandwich, sharing a bed with Darth Vader and the other girl who needs to have half the bed to herself. getting the same fish tacos two night in a row, going to finally get paella only to cave ten minutes before the reservation for a burrito place right next door, being saved by the other airbnb crew instead of being homeless all day, then walking to the bus stop at11:50 at night to catch our 10 hour overnight bus to Nice, France..

At lunch, we see a group of young guys wearing American University shirts so we go introduce ourselves. Turns out, they had been studying abroad in Barcelona and we swapped our travel recommendations for different countries. We asked them "hey, whats a really cool thing you guys do close to here?" To which they replied with, "The Bunkers." Sounds sketchy, I know. The bunkers are, in fact, not a scary underground place, but an overlook spot of the whole city. It was worth every step. All five million bajillion. We could see for miles, the ocean, our airbnb that was.....way too far. Every blister was worth it. Breathtaking.
